Access to the rt.toyota.com ordering module is restricted to specifically designated users at your dealership. By enrolling you acknowledge that Rent a Toyota units cannot be cancelled once the order is placed by TMS; your dealership will be financially responsible for the vehicle.

Rent a Toyota TOPS Users are offered 2 levels of access: a) View Only or b) View and Place Rent a Toyota Vehicle Orders (requires Region/PD approval) Non-officers who order directly on the Toyota website http://rt.toyota.com (TOPS) must submit an authorization form signed by a dealership officer allowing them to use TOPS for Rent a Toyota vehicle orders.

Order Change/Cancellation Policy:

1. Rent a Toyota dealers may cancel or change factory specifications of an order up to the point in time that TMS submits the production order request to the plant.
2. Toyota has the right to charge a change/ cancellation fee for orders changed or canceled after a certain point which will not exceed the delivery, processing and handling fee listed on the dealer invoice for that model year.

The status of the order as shown in TOPS identifies whether an order can be canceled

• Valid = can be canceled
• Placed = Sent to the plant, cannot be canceled
• Confirmed = Send and confirmed by the plant, cannot be canceled
• E-mmediate orders cannot be canceled as they are processed and submitted immediately

Program Type: Toyota Rent a Car

Eligible Models:
Specific series and models are provided by your Region/Private Distributor.

Eligible Rent a Toyota Program Vehicles must be ordered as Fleet Production "J" category (vehicles sourced from Region/Distributor/Dealer Stock require prior authorization by TMS Fleet).

Production requests must be received at TMS by approximately the 10th of each month (N) for production during month (N+2). Example N = January, N+2 = March. Actual production due dates will be communicated by the TMS Fleet Department on a monthly basis.

Terms & Conditions

Toyota accepts no responsibility or liability for vehicle orders which cannot be filled as a result of consequences beyond its control, such as limited Fleet production, unexpected production interruption by the manufacturer (TMC, NUMMI, TMMI, TMMK, TMMC) or force majeure. In addition, there may be situations in which supplies are limited. In such cases, Toyota will notify the dealer at the time it accepts an order that there may be a production limitation or limited availability, which could affect the order and/or requested delivery date.

The "Rent a Toyota System Lease Agreement" provides the structure in which you, the dealer, and TMS function.

Acceptance of an order by the TOPS ordering system does not constitute a commitment from Toyota to build a vehicle. At TMS' sole discretion, TMS reserves the right to cancel, limit production, amend, revise, reassign, or revoke any order at any time.
